Fate Doesn't Care About Your Plans

Fate Doesn't Care About Your Plans

We are not in charge — fate is.
Look around. Infinite stars, endless galaxies — and yet here we are, thinking we run the show. We sketch out big plans, take bold actions, live like we’re invincible. It feels like if we just hustle hard enough, life will bend to our will. But then, like a punch you never saw coming, fate shows up and knocks you flat.

We Forget How Small We Really Are

Somewhere along the way, we convince ourselves we’re the main characters of the universe. That illusion? It’s dangerous. The truth is, we’re dust — lucky dust, sure — but dust all the same. The bigger we puff ourselves up, the harder it hurts when life decides to remind us who's actually in control.

Plans Are Useful — But They’re No Guarantee

Don’t get me wrong — planning matters. It gives you direction, focus. But too many people mistake planning for some kind of contract with the universe. Like, "Hey, I planned this, so it has to happen." It doesn’t. Life isn’t a polite guest following your schedule. Clutching your plans too tightly only guarantees heartbreak when things fall apart — and they will, sometimes.

Fate Reminds Us Who’s Boss

You can train, hustle, grind, strategize — and then one random Tuesday afternoon, something flips your entire life upside down. That’s not bad luck. It’s just fate doing what fate does. Not to punish you, but to balance things out. Fate doesn’t care about your careful plans — it cares about realigning what’s out of whack.

Intention Is the Only Thing You Really Own

When fate tears up your roadmap, your intention is what keeps you from getting lost. If you know what you truly want deep down — not what sounds good, not what’s trendy — then you can survive any storm. Plans change. Paths disappear. But intention? It’s your anchor.

Small Actions Beat Big Dreams

We love dreaming about some far-off perfect future. Problem is, dreams without action are just pretty lies. Progress isn’t one giant leap — it’s tiny, boring steps every damn day. One email. One phone call. One new idea scribbled in a notebook. Stack enough of those, and suddenly, you’ve built something real.

Loosen the Grip and Breathe

Here’s the thing — the tighter you try to control everything, the more miserable you get. Life doesn’t care about your deadlines or your five-year vision board. Letting go a little — doing your best and then stepping back — brings a kind of peace that forcing things never will. It's not giving up. It’s breathing again.

Fate Works With You — If You Let It

When your daily actions and your deeper intentions line up with how life is already flowing, crazy stuff happens — things click into place. Opportunities show up. People appear at just the right moment. When you fight that current, though, fate slaps you around until you get the message. It’s not mean. It’s just life course-correcting you.

Expectations and Assumptions Will Break You

Nothing poisons progress faster than clinging to expectations. Assuming you know how things should go blinds you to how they actually are. Dropping those heavy expectations doesn’t mean you don’t care — it just means you’re awake enough to deal with reality. Life rarely sticks to your script, but honestly, sometimes the improv is way better.

Progress Brings Resistance—But You Must Keep Moving

Progress Brings Resistance—But You Must Keep Moving

When you decide to grow, life pushes back. People question you. Chaos shows up. But if your actions stay true to your intentions, everything begins to shift. This post is a reminder to stay the course, even when it’s uncomfortable. Progress isn’t easy—but it’s worth it.

How to be in control of your life and achieve your goals

Since mid 2019, I’ve been using the “time block” approach in my life. I can’t express how helpful it is in keeping me on track towards my goal, removing bluriness, and keeping me productive and focused.

The Art of Surrendering to Life's Turning Points

The Art of Surrendering to Life's Turning Points

Life flows like water, carrying us through unexpected turns that we often fight against. After decades of battling life's inevitable turning points only to watch them unfold anyway, I discovered a powerful truth: surrendering to life's natural flow isn't giving up—it's freedom. When we release our grip on outcomes and expectations, we find an inner peace that transforms how we experience life's unavoidable transitions.
