“It ain’t about how hard you hit. It’s about how hard you can get hit and keep moving forward” – Rocky Balboa

Hello! Allow me to introduce myself…

My name is Cem Hurturk. I’m a self-made software engineer and serial entrepreneur. I’ve been writing code since I was in high school and working in the software industry since the early 1990s. Since then, I’ve continued to hone my experience and skills in creating software to optimize business potential, email marketing, and delivery.

My entrepreneurial spirit and knowledge in software creation have enabled me to establish over 20 successful businesses, some of which include: Octeth.com, Sendloop.com, 50saas.com, ReferralMagic.co, IPMonitor.app, Cleanify.io, and PreviewMyEmail (acquired).

The software businesses that I manage enable other worldwide organizations to operate more efficiently.

Building on my experience, my mission is to assist at least 1000 entrepreneurs yearly to build their in-house email marketing systems. I’ve created this website to showcase my professional career milestones, as a platform to share my thoughts, ideas, and future plans.

In my free time, I enjoy reading and I’m passionate and eager to learn more about nature. I’m continually aspiring to be a better person and to be grateful every day.

Thank you for visiting.

To discuss the services I offer or to have a chat, please feel free to reach out to me at: [email protected].

“Empty your mind, be formless. Shapeless, like water. If you put water into a cup, it becomes the cup. You put water into a bottle and it becomes the bottle. You put it in a teapot, it becomes the teapot. Now, water can flow or it can crash. Be water, my friend.” – Bruce Lee

Failure Is the Rep That Makes You Grow

Failure Is the Rep That Makes You Grow

Your muscles don't grow from the reps you complete easily — they grow from the one rep you can't finish. At the gym, we celebrate hitting failure. It's the signal that triggers growth. But in business and in life, we treat failure like a verdict — something to be ashamed of, a reason to quit. The truth is, the same principle applies everywhere. Controlled failure, just beyond your comfort zone, is the mechanism of growth. Push too little and nothing changes. Push too far and you break. The sweet spot is that uncomfortable stretch where you fail, recover, adapt, and come back stronger.

45 and Reflections: Work, Growth, Wisdom

I started my journey in late middle school where I began building virtual brands and selling computer hardware. PC2000, my custom PC brand was my first entrepreneurial venture. The internet in 1997 opened up new opportunities with ticaretmerkezi.com, a corporate directory website that became a money maker.

Coincidences Are Not Luck — They Are Life Speaking to You

Coincidences Are Not Luck — They Are Life Speaking to You

We all know that luck favors the prepared. But what about those moments you never saw coming — the stranger you met at a random place, the phone call that arrived during your worst week, the idea that found you on an ordinary Tuesday evening? Those aren't luck. They're something else entirely. In this post, I explore the difference between the luck we earn and the coincidences that simply arrive — uninvited, unplanned, and often life-changing.
